Making Connections: Meeting the Information Needs of Professionals Working with Immigrant Women

(April 2002 - March 2003)

Based on ACTEW's research report, "Challenges and Connections," we developed a series of 6 professional development workshops to help support front-line employment practitioners working with immigrant and refugee women. Workshop topics included successful networking, teaching labour market trends, and managing Internet resources effectively.

This project was funded by Human Resources and Social Development Canada.
